Charlotte, (Lottie), is fourteen and has two sets of parents. One is a Fairy King and Queen that she is unaware of, the other is Lord Edward and Lady Constance Derby.
She was discovered in the grounds of their Edwardian estate when she was a baby by Edward, having been placed there for safety, and watched closely by the Fairy Nanny.
Lottie’s life changes dramatically following the Derbys’ fatal journey aboard the Titanic, and the arrival of her guardian Uncle Thomas.
Lottie and her friend Bertie find the magic chalks she saw in a recurring dream. They draw the entrance to a tunnel leading to another world, where she learns of her real parents, who are missing believed dead. They were abducted by her evil Uncle Fala, a shape changer, who is power crazy and wants Entransia and its gold.
They meet the Pipples, led by the unwittingly comical and bumptious Otto. The Pipples remind Lottie of small cute chinese lions, and have an ability for telepathy and teleportation.
Otto and his small army of Pipples, together with the finest of Entransia's army of gorillas, are enlisted to help Lottie in her quest.
Lottie’s mission is to rescue Zultar, the Crown Prince of Entransia, a silver back gorilla, and thwart Fala's evil plan.
Green Eyes, Black Heart
‘Who’s my lovely, pretty little boy?’ He heard a voice in his head from long ago. He froze and stared into the reflection of his eyes and was a little boy again.
What is the connection between a murder that happened twenty-four years ago, and the current spate of murders in a small town, and is everyone who they appear to be?
As the death toll rises, DI Mark Baines is drawn into a web of deception as a series of startling events unfold.
